The fifth graders have wrapped up their study of the colonization of America, ending with the discovery of the fate of their Mayflower passenger identity. They had a great time learning who survived the first winter, who married, who had children, and when they died. It was an exciting end to the unit.
The students are beginning their study of the expansion of America and the beginning of the American Revolution. The class has shown great interest in the history of our great nation and continue to show tremendous enthusiasm for this newest unit.
