Grade seven continues its ongoing study of adjective and adverb phrases and clauses, independent and subordinate clauses, and active and passive voice. In Composition, they continue to strive for well-developed, coherent paragraphs that have clear topic development and variations in sentence structure.
In Literature, the students have read several short stories with a focus on recognizing literary devices. They are currently reading and analyzing The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
