In religion class, Mrs. Giberti continues to keep their spiritual minds active. She has engaged them in some thought provoking conversations and activities. They will have a busy Advent Season as they create a Jesse Tree with their Buddies. We will also be making Christmas gifts for our buddies over the next few weeks.
The students have finished working together with their 2nd Grade Buddies on their Saint’s Project. The final results can be seen here as soon I get the pictures downloaded, hopefully that will be very soon! : )
We are also collecting cans for the food pantry. My goal for our class is 112 cans by the end of the quarter. This comes out to 4 cans per student. So far we have collected 56 cans – we are almost half way there which is the goal by progress reports! We will be doing this for each quarter as we strive to keep the food pantry full all year long. Besides cans, other necessities, such as toothpaste, shampoo, etc. are always welcome.
