In History we have concluded our study of the ideas behind the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and have moved on to the Age of Jefferson and the Westward Expansion. An in class pioneer simulation will be taking place over the next few weeks as we make our way up to the mid 1800’s and gain an understanding of the factors that contributed to the Civil War. Seventh grade History will conclude just as the Civil War is about to begin.
Just a reminder that once a week we work on geography. Every student should have their own Rand McNally Notebook Atlas. The atlas is to be used to answer the weekly ten questions that are due every Friday and count as a quiz toward their Social Studies grade.
