St. Thomas Physical Education Olympics – The results are in!!!!!
Each class was divided into 4 teams and all the grade’s results were added together.
The students competed in soccer, frisbee catch, scooter relay, kickball, and a jump rope contest.
And the winner is…the Red Sox (who wore purple pinnies)!! They earned 70 pts with 15 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze medals.
Second place went to the Bruins (who wore yellow pinnies)! They earned 54 pts with 10 gold, 7 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
A close finish for third place was the Celtics (who wore green pinnies)! They earned 52 pts with 9 gold, 8 silver, and 9 bronze medals.
And fourth place went to the Patriots (who wore no pinnies)! They earned 43 pts with 4 gold, 11 silver, and 9 bronze medals.

Kindergarten and First Grade have been busy in gym class as well. They have been working on the following: the whistle, bouncing ball skills, ways to move their body (i.e. skipping, hopping, galloping, sidestepping, and running), and jumping rope. They have also played Octopus, Red Light/Green Light, Duck Duck Goose, and a scooter relay.
