Parent Teacher Student Organization
The PTSO is gearing up for another year. The PTSO asks for all previous members to spread the word with new families or families who have not participated in the past regarding the wonderful programs the PTSO has each year and how vital raising our membership levels are to our continued existence. .
Join Us!
PTSO members meet two or three times annually for planning and expanding the scope of the organization. Committees oversee and plan events sponsored by the PTSO and meet as needed throughout the school year. Our committees include:
- Enrichment
- Community Outreach
- Social
- Sports and Fitness
- Sports Banquet
If you would like to become part of something great–please feel free to meet with one of our Officers to discuss our current volunteer openings. Even if you choose not to become an active member we ask that all families support the PTSO by making a $20.00 annual donation to help fund the many events that will benefit all St. Thomas Aquinas students. Checks, made payable to St. Thomas Aquinas School, can be sent into the school office labeled “PTSO”.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of the PTSO Officers:
- Leigh Sciarappa (Co-Chairperson)
- Jean Parady (Co-Chairperson)
- Melissa Robillard (Treasurer)
- Kimber Marshall (Secretary)
PTSO Mission and Goals
The PTSO exists to support our school’s present goals of nurturing faith, imparting knowledge, inspiring achievement and encouraging students to be responsible, considerate, contributing Catholic citizens to our community. The organization will work with our school’s staff, parents, students, and parish community to allow each student to develop to his or her fullest potential.
About the PTSO
The Saint Thomas Aquinas School PTSO was started in 1998 by a group of parents wishing to further enrich the education experience of our students. The organization has developed a mission and set goals to achieve the mission.
We are funded solely by annual dues paid by members. The PTSO does not engage in any fundraising activities. All programs and events are offered to all families of St. Thomas Aquinas School regardless of a family’s membership in the organization.
If anyone has any thoughts as to how we might be able to further accomplish these goals, we would be happy to hear from you. Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes an entire school to help all the students grow and prosper. Any ideas would be appreciated.
